Lepage71 took 6 of the 7 awards this week winning the pole, leading every lap, running the fastest lap, leading the points, and being selected as the prerace favorite. Only 3 cars finished on the lead lap: the 71, Viagra6car who came from last place on lap 2, and Bear328 having an excellent run. Reef rebouded from a big-time wall hit in the last 20 laps for 4th, followed by Mr. Tom in 5th place. KTIN3 & G ROCK were the only remaining finishers as an amazing 4 cars had DNF's. Next week the race is on @ Charlotte/Lowe's Speedway, home of the closest finish in league history one season ago (Lepage over V6 by 0.017 seconds) as Bear328 has moved to 2nd place by 1 point over Reef and tries to reel in the 71. |
