Bear328 dominated the competiton this week at Davenport and captured his 3rd career win. Bear started in 3rd, yet led 62 of the 63 laps on the 1/2 mile dirt track. This victory along with the Season 2 win at Davenport makes Bear the only driver in the history of the LCHRL to repeat there. Current point leader Lepage71 was his only legitimate competition. Lepage started in the 7th position and picked his way through traffic and with a little help from the lapped cars came all the way up to within 4 tenths of a second of Bear, but ran out of laps and settled for 2nd. In 3rd was another repeat performance by Efgordon. Third in Season 2 and another solid 3rd in Season 3 keeps Efgordon on pace, just 9 points back of Lepage71, to defend his LCHRL championship. KTIN3 started 6th, ran as high as 3rd after passing Lepage early on, but settled for 4th after some classic dirt track racing with Reef. KTIN3's third straight top 6 finish after winning the Winner's Event combined with his reputation on the road courses ensures him as a force to be reckoned with for this year's championship. Reef bounced back from his early season woes to finish 5th. Reef's 2nd top 5 finish helped him jump 3 spots in the standings and avoid any possible Heat Races. The rookie Dhib8 finished 6th from the 3rd starting position and falls one spot to 6th in the point standings. TommyW finished 7th and also fell one spot in the standings down to 7th. G ROCK, in his first Season 3 event finished in 8th from the 9th starting position. Welcome back bud. Viagra6car's slump continues as he finishes 9th. LH8 started in 5th, but lost the handling on his car after several incidents with the outside wall. LH would finish 10th. Haulinace007 started on the outside pole, lead the first lap, then fell back quickly after heavy contact with a tire and had to retire from the event and finished 11th, 26 laps down. Crkfingr was credited with the 12th spot but did not start. This will be an off week for the LCH series, but most teams have decided to do some track testing at Jennerstown.
