Only 9 cars showed up on this Thursday night, so no Heat Race was needed. With no qualifying at the Davenport track, a random starting order was used...and Fat9fan was handed the pole position. He took advantage of that by leading the first lap. After that, Efgordon & G ROCK took the top two spots, with Efgordon leading 1 lap and G ROCK leading 10. As Reef & Fat9fan retired from the race early on, the field was down to just seven cars. Bear3283 was moving up very quickly from his seventh starting position. He took the lead on lap 13 and pulled far away, easily taking his first career win. The main battle at the end was between Efgordon, Catch22, and Viagra6car. The three cars traded positions several times near the end, but Efgordon took the top spot among them. One final thing to mention was a decent run by Magpye105, who was disconnected on the final lap...but still finished in sixth. |
