Race #2 of the season was a real goodie. Viagra6car started from the pole with a quick time of 25.645 seconds. As always though, it was shown during the race that qualifying doesn't really matter. Kyle4445 participated in his first league race, but unfortunately Raminrdixin and himself started on the back row and lost the draft right at the start. Up front, the lead changed about every lap. The low line was the only way to go if you wanted to run up front. After Reef started from the 2nd position, he drifted back in the pack and would lose the draft on around the 7th lap. The runner-up of Season 1 has struggled in each of the first 2 races of Season 2, but don't count him out of the points battle yet. On around the 40th lap, Cookie bounced off the apron while he was in a 3-wide battle. As a result of this, Catch22 bounced off the wall and then down into Viagra6car. The 6 car lost the draft and would end up finishing 7th. 10 laps later, Bear328 was taken out in a incident with G ROCK and finished in 6th. On 3 to go, G ROCK got knocked into the wall by Catch22 because of an apron problem. The lead pack was down to just 4 cars. With 2 laps to go, Lepage71 made a move on Fat9fan to the inside with some help from Cookie. Fat9fan would drift back to 3rd, where he would finish. On the final lap, Cookie tried everything to get by the 110 car of Lepage71...but Lepage left no room for him to make the move and hung on for his first win in his first Feature Race! |
