Only ten cars showed up on this racenight, meaning no Heat Race once again, but probably the ten best racers where there on this Thursday anyway. Once again, Viagra6car started from the pole with a time of 38.085, his seventh career pole...but it was shown once again that this meant nothing in the race. The 6 machine was in last place by the end of the first lap. On lap 4, Raminrdixin got into a jam with Bear328 & G ROCK, causing him to lose the draft. On lap 21, Viagra6car lost the draft after a slow car up ahead caused Lepage71 to slow down, which then the 6 car ran into, and all he could do then was watch the pack pull away. Seven racers led laps over the 40 lap race, but Catch22 led the most with 11. He made his final move on lap 38. He moved from 4th to 1st on the low side, passing Bear328 just after taking the white flag. All he had to do from there was keep it on the low side and pick up his first career win! That makes three first time winners in the first four races this season! |
