"LEPAGE71 WINS! AGAIN! Lepage71 held off defending league champion Efgordon for the final 2 laps around the New Hampshire Speedway to capture his 6th win of 2004, and 12th win of his LCH career. A win for the 71 team on his hometown track seemed unlikely after the team had so many equipment issues during happy hour. Somehow the 71 car was all fixed up by racetime, and once again proves why it is the team to beat in 2004. The win streches his lead to 128 points. Efgordon, who was credited with the pole even though the entire qualifying session would have to be redone, finished 2nd, just 3 tenths of a second behind car 71. "At least i am fast every week again" stated Efgordon, after finishing inside the top 2 for the 5th week in a row. Reef would finish a disappointing 3rd after losing the draft late in the race. With only 10 races left the #511 car knows he needs to beat the 71 every week to catch him for the championship. KTIN3 finished a solid 4th after losing the draft about halfway through the race. Dhib8 would finish 5th after some brutal mid pack racing that would cause every car from 6th on back to lose contact with the leaders. Dusterlag, LH8, Crankman, JT, Crkfngr, and Tech all had very fast cars but could never get track position due to the pace the leaders were setting. Viagra6car's nightmare season continued right through Loudon this week. The 6 car was not only the fastest would be qualifier, but had the race all but won with 3 laps to go, when his connection once again failed. This last technical issue has all but killed any chance of Viagra6car winning the season championship. |
