Viagra6car has often called himself "King of the Road (courses)." He again proved that this may be true, now winning at both the road courses the LCH league has raced on so far. Surprising himself, even with the amount of poles he has in his career, Viagra6car took the pole on his best lap of the week - 79.303 seconds, with Efgordon starting to the outside of row 1 with a chance to take the points lead from Catch22. As the race began, 7th place starting Reef ghosted all the way up to the polesitter Viagra6car, making it 3 wide to begin the race. This led to a major jam in turn 1, allowing the 6 car to pull away by 1.6 seconds after 1 lap. Off turn 12 on the first lap, GR8-1 got loose and ended up going into the pits, losing several seconds. When he asked for a restart, Viagra6car attempted to type "only for multicar" and drove right off the track. The #6 Coupe dropped back to 4th as Reef took the lead. After Reef led laps 2-5, Viagra6car went back to the lead on lap 6. Fat9fan retired on lap 4 after starting in 11th...which drops him down to 7th in points now. Efgordon dropped from 2nd to 8th in 3 laps, but would work his way back up and finish 5th. G ROCK moved up and into 2nd place on lap 7, then started to gain a few seconds on Viagra6car. He cut the lead down to less than 5 seconds, but couldn't quite make it to the front. Bear328 was very happy with his 3rd place finish, basically saying he stole it. He takes the point lead with that run. Prerace Favorite Lepage71 ran in the top 5 throughout the race and would finish in 4th...after having damage the entire race. Reef led 4 laps but had a few problems with sliding into the sand and finished 6th. GR8-1 had problems on lap 1 as mentioned, but moved back up and finished 7th. Points leader Catch22 had a tough run and finished 8th, losing the points lead now. Remaining finishers were Pitbull4 & Aldog626. |
