The LCH series captured gold this week at the U.S.A. International Speedway. This rather bland looking obscure track produced one heck of a legends car race. A race with bumping, drafting, legitimate highside passing, slide jobs, crossovers, and even a couple of bump-n-runs. Once again Lepage71 was the fastest car on the track. In dominant fashion the 71 knifed through traffic and beat every car to the checkered flag. The always fast Lepage is having the most dominant season the series has ever seen. This week's race was no gimmie for Lepage71, as present LCH champion Efgordon was also in a very fast car with the 71, well within striking distance for the entire race. The 7 car pulled a nose ahead of the 71 comming out of turn 4 on lap 60, but he just couldn't make the car handle all that well on the bottom and settled for 2nd place. Just a few lenghts back was Reef after dominating the first third of the race. The red hot veteran is in the midst of his best season ever. The #511 car looks like the only car with any possibility of catching the 71 in points. Tech (4th), Dhib8 (5th), Dusterlag(6th), and Crankman(7th) would all have very competitive battles for thier positions throughout the entire race. The results just do not accurately reflect how competitive this race really was. With more races like this, the LCH has a very bright future.
