 The 2016 Lucky Touring Series, Season 3, schedule as been officially released as TourSport's second independent season! While it is our first season racing under the TourSport name, this is actually the Touring Series' third season and year racing, formally racing under the ARL banner. Changes did not stop with our name for the 2016 season. This year our series will be known as the Lucky Touring Series, named after one of the Heat Communities top modders and track makers - best known for road course development skills. This season we will run a double header race schedule with two races every race weekend. The second race will feature an inverted grid start from the finishing order of the first race. 2016 kicks off at Lime Rock Park on March 19th and will run through May 21st at Riverside International Raceway. For the first time we will shift to Expert mode with identical cars and setups, this will improve competition and make race preparation much easier for all drivers. Wear factors be static at 1x. All races will be in the The Mod Squad's Lotus Exige mod. Three championships will be up for grabs - drivers will be competing for the overall driver, team and manufacturer championships. We will be racing Saturday afternoons at 4pm ET / 21:00 UTC. Drivers will be allowed two custom paints and are permitted four provisionals (two days) during the season.
