Bmxtwins has only received and used two provisionals. Provisionals are granted as DNR's. Provisionals must be requested on the above page before an event occurs to be granted, which he did not. Also for this series drivers were permitted 2 provisionals of which Bmxtwins has used both.

Rulebook wrote:
1. Active drivers may be scored for an event they are unable to attend via provisionals.
2. Active drivers must request a provisional via the "Request Provisional" button prior to the event they wish to be scored for.
3. Active drivers using a provisional are scored as a Did Not Race (DNR) in last place based on request order.
4. Active drivers are permitted 4 provisionals per IndyCar season and 2 provisionals per IndyLights/Grand Prix season.

At Suzuka East Bmxtwins was granted a DNS because he was in the server during pre-race and race. This is something that has been in existence for many years and used countless times including at many events this season/series alone.

Hopefully this answers your question.

Still he did not make it in on time to race so why should he get points for it? I could understand if he was on the server beforehand and got booted when the race started for whatever reason but in my opinion if you don't show up on time you shouldn't get scored for it unless you use a provisional.

Basically all he has to do is show up and finish last @ Watkins Glen to win the championship even though he only raced 3 races so far Kind of makes it pointless for anybody to show up really.

Hope the indycars points aren't going to be as screwy.
