On September 7, the Busch Series thundered into Brickyard for the third leg of the 2018 season. All that happened was a wild and As expected, the level of fun and excitement did not disappoint race full of twists and turns. Holding off a bevy of contestants, Speedyman11 drove to a well-deserved win with the aid of patient techniques, leading 51 of 54 laps and trumping lepage71 by 3.4 seconds. En route to finishing second, lepage71 led three laps of his own to fuel a daring battle for the trophy. In a fine effort, BlackKnight sped to the third-place position, crossing the finish 47.6 seconds behind Speedyman11. No slowpokes, Jes Rathbun and Grumpy were also significant factors, locking down fourth and fifth to fill out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's first of the season, closes his gap behind leader lepage71 in the standings to 26 points. In its next event, the Busch Series heads to Las Vegas in what promises to be another shootout.
