| Bandit Captures 2018 ARL Truck Series Championship |

The trucks rolled into Homestead with four drivers looking for a championship. Bandit, BlackKnight, lepage71 and Speedyman11. Speedyman11 was unable to attend the evenings event locking him in the fourth position. Meanwhile Bandit, BlackKnight, and lepage71 took to the field. The race started as expected with the three contenders earning the top three starting positions. At the drop of the green flag lepage71 took the lead and looked to be unreachable, driving to a tremendous lead over Bandit and BK. When the segment ended the field bunched back up for the final 20 laps with Bandit leading after a great pit stop. With the race underway BK and lepage fought for the second position until BK got loose and collected lepage. Both drivers spun and received damage, allowing Bandit to take command and drive to a substantial lead. BK gave it a good try but ended up running out of gas on the finale turn allowing lepage71 to take second place. Congratulations to Bandit on well run race and his first ARL Racing Championship.
