Hey, it's Daveybird. I love how you're using the Normal mode to race online. Great for beginners and veterans alike, and makes for some pretty exciting racing. Just wondering if you would like to try some races with some of my mods.

Short Trackers Series (STS) Street Stocks:
Asphalt Street Stocks. Physics are kinda similar to the original NASCAR, but slower. Use DRT models. Great for both arcade and expert mode.

STS Late Model Stocks:
Asphalt Late Models, which use the original NASCAR Heat body, but are resized to be lower to the ground and a bit wider. A little slower than NASCAR. Run real good in arcade mode.

RSR Arcade Dirt Late Models:
The other RSR Dirt Late Models are meant for expert mode, but this division, using 4 gears and easy physics, is ideal for arcade mode. This is a carset for the RSR Late Models 2013 mod. Since you're using a 4-geared midget mod for dirt, it would be cool to do the same for dirt Super Late Models. Make sure to download the 2013 Arcade Late Model carset update!

All of these mods and more can be found at my site, rsrdirtsim.webs.com.

Thanks for the offer Daveybird. Maybe after we run the HMS Midgets in our Home Pro Series we will look into using a modified mod to counter act when the Midgets aren't running.

You should sign up. First race is this Wednesday 8-14-13 at 7 pm est..

Oh sorry. Mygroup home (yes, group home) turns the Internet on weekdays off at 9pm. But I'll be gone and at my parents' house this Wednesday, so I might be able to make a guest appearance this week! And guess where I'll be going this Friday? I'll give you a hint. It's on your Home Pro schedule...

Bloomington Speedway!!

And you might wanna try my RSR Bloomington included in my RSR Indiana Track Pack. It has invisible walls, but at least it looks more exciting, with billboards, starting lights, and food stands, looking pretty accurate to the real thing. You can't roll off of the edge, though. All of my tracks are edits of DRT tracks, since I don't have the proper editing tools.

I might make an Arcade edition to my modifieds. In fact, I'll try it right now!

Well our Home Pro Series races are at 7pm est. and will be over well before they shut your internet off at 9pm.

Next time we do a series we may look at some of your tracks.

Oh yeah, that's right. It will be even earlier for me, since we go by Central time! But please note that some of my tracks have INVISIBLE WALLS due to the limitations of just editing the GRF file. Otherwise, they're awesome to run on!

Hey Daveybird,

I see your getting more and more into track editing.. That's cool! You say you don't have the proper editing tools.. Question, I'm assuming you have DRT permission to edit his tracks right? So I'm assuming you have his Max files to work off of? If you don't have DRT's original source code, and if your really interested to dig deeper into track stuff, get with DRT and ask for his original source code, then you can update them all day long.. Editing tools, last I knew you had 3dSimEd and 3dsMax correct? Anyhow if you do ask DRT for his original source code I'll be more then willing to help you in Max, to help you do some editing.. I use Max and MC, like Smoke does. So if you need help in the future to update your tracks a little bit more hit me up..

And keep having fun with tracks little buddy.. The more you play with editing them, the better you get at it. And if you need help getting pits put into your tracks, hit me up some time also, and I'll be more then happy to help put pits into your tracks!!

Happy Editing!!!!

Well Mike said I can use any of his files for editing and releasing, and I give him credit. But 3DS Max R3.1 doesn't work on my Win7 computer, so I might have to wait until I go back home to try it out. What I really want to do is get the ancient Bloomington Track and, well not exactly put pits in it, but simply enable qualifying. Like that old Talladega Short Track for Heat, which didn't have pits, but had qualifying. All the cars raced ad the same time during qualifying. I'm not sure how that track's ILD's hex looks, though, because right now you can't download any of Slingindirt's NASCAR Heat files. Do you know how to enable qualifying?

3dsMax works on my Win 7 machine.. You just need to know how to install it properly.. That's good you have proper credit to work on this tracks!! Well so far I haven't had a problem getting qualifying to work on any tracks I've worked on. If you want to talk more just private message me at TMS or SS.

Hey Grumpy, I updated the Bloomington you're using. Should look a lot better. I'm not saying we have to race there next Wednesday, I would just like it if you add BloomingtonV2.trk and BloomingtonV2N.trk to Heatfinder's track roster. This version has better scenery, a day and night version, and qualifying is enabled.
