It seems that everyone has done pretty well with the new draft rules and I'm not being extremely strict since it doesn't look like I have to be. Things I'm seeing are mostly "just racing"...hard racing at that with the open rules. These cars bounce around pretty bad when you bump wheels so look out if it's you or surrounding you. There seem to be a few instinctive partial blocks, but we're trying to get past that. Nobody seems to be really attacking the yellow line for passing so that's nice. Sometimes you get a giant run and have to swerve so aggressively that you end up below the line a tiny bit but try not to stay there. Careful with coming up off the turns to the "non-blocking" position off the yellow line. When you move up and then drift back down to only allow the minimum required single car width it has the illusion of blocking whether you are trying or not. |
