puttzracer captures the feature win at SCUOR Speedway

Sunday evening started like any normal dirt race, but it didn't end that way. The heat race started with a draw - placing puttzracer and Breeze on the front row. At the drop of the green flag puttzracer jumped into the lead and led the first 12 laps of the 65 lap event. Speedyman11, in true fashion of his racing ability, made his way thru the field and took the lead on lap 13 and lead the remaining 53 laps. KartRacer63 captured the fastest lap award with a lap time of 15.498. Speedyman11, puttzracer, KartRacer63, BlackKnight and Grumpy make up the top five finishers. With the field inverted for the feature, Breeze and Grumpy started on the front row. At the drop of the green flag Breeze made a move that caused several cars to wreck. Speedy dropped out of the race due to damage on lap 28. BlackKnight managed to get thru the chaos and took a demanding lead. But his luck didn't last as he would've liked, a couple of spins and altercations with the wall sent him from the lead to third, 6 laps down. Kart again captured the fastest lap award with a time of 15.582, but failed to finish due to damage. BlackKnight took the most laps led award by leading 90 of the 130 laps scheduled. puttzracer earned the hard charger award along with capturing the victory.
