On June 22, the drivers of the Cup Series came to Dover Downs for the sixth round of the 2018 season. To no one's surprise, the resulting fun and excitement hit soaring heights. Amid a frenzy of competitors, Speedyman11 took the checkered flag using smart strategy, leading 65 of 110 laps and edging lepage71 by 0.1 seconds. En route to second-place, lepage71 led 25 laps of his own to put up a thrilling challenge for the title. In an impressive effort, Rookiesrock took the final step on the podium, reaching the line 14.0 seconds behind Speedyman11. Not to be forgotten, Jes Rathbun and Bandit were no slowpokes either, finishing fourth and fifth to round out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's fourth of the season, increases his lead over lepage71 in the standings to 13 points.
