lepage71 and DusterLag Shadow Box in Survival Fest at Bristol

On August 24, the drivers of the Busch Series flocked to Bristol for the opening round of the 2018 season. As expected, the resulting electricity echoed across the community. Amid a frenzy of competitors, lepage71 took the checkered flag using smart strategy, leading 84 of 185 laps and edging DusterLag by 1.2 seconds. En route to second-place, DusterLag led 34 laps of his own to put up a thrilling challenge for the title. In an impressive effort, Jes Rathbun took the final step on the podium, reaching the line one lap behind lepage71. Trailing them, BlackKnight and Redimuss were not to be overlooked either, finishing fourth and fifth to round out the top-five. The victory sets lepage71 just 210 points behind lepage71 in the initial standings. In its next event, the Busch Series heads to Darlington in what promises to be another shootout.
