lepage71 and Speedyman11 Duel in Legendary Showdown at Darlington

On August 31, the Busch Series rolled into Darlington for the second event of the 2018 campaign. All that happened was a spectacle beyond what anyone could imagine. Defeating a flurry of contestants, lepage71 drove to a well-deserved win with the aid of patient techniques, leading 42 of 100 laps and clipping Speedyman11 by 7.9 seconds. En route to finishing second, Speedyman11 led 47 laps of his own to fuel a serious battle for the trophy. In a fine effort, Bandit occupied the final step on the podium, crossing the finish 20.8 seconds behind lepage71. Not to be overlooked, Jes Rathbun and Grumpy were no slouches either, locking down fourth and fifth to fill out the top-five. The victory, lepage71's second of the season, strengthens his buffer over Jes Rathbun in the standings to 26 points. In its next event, the Busch Series heads to Brickyard in what promises to be another shootout.
