Speedy Holds Off Pack with Aid of Ally Rookie @ Talladega

On October 5, the Busch Series strolled into Talladega for the seventh stage of the 2018 campaign. What ensued was another entertaining performance for the ages. Defeating a flurry of contestants, Speedyman11 drove to a well-deserved win with the aid of patient techniques, leading 18 of 60 laps and outdistancing Rookiesrock by 0.1 seconds. En route to finishing second, Rookiesrock led 24 laps of his own to harbor a close battle for the trophy. In a fine effort, lepage71 claimed the third-place position, crossing the finish 0.1 seconds behind Speedyman11. A few paces back, Bandit and Jes Rathbun were not to be forgotten either, locking down fourth and fifth to fill out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's fifth of the season, strengthens his buffer over lepage71 in the standings to 18 points. In its next event, the Busch Series heads to California in what promises to be another shootout.
