On November 30, the Truck Series traveled to IndyRC T for the opening meeting of the 2018 campaign. As expected, the level of action and drama did not disappoint. Overcoming a party of pursuers, Speedyman11 drove to a convincing win through a speedy machine, leading 16 of 27 laps and edging lepage71 by 12.0 seconds. En route to second-place, lepage71 led 11 laps of his own to put up a serious competition for the hardware. In a fine bid, Bandit claimed the final step on the podium, coming to the finish 83.7 seconds behind Speedyman11. Not to be overlooked, Jes Rathbun and Redimuss were no slouches either, registering fourth and fifth to wrap up the top-five. The victory sets Speedyman11 just 210 points behind Speedyman11 in the initial standings. In its next event, the Truck Series heads to New Hampshire in what promises to be another shootout.
