On February 8, the drivers of the Truck Series went to Bristol for the eighth round of the 2019 season. As suspected, the amount of fun and excitement made a big statement. Amid a frenzy of competitors, Speedyman11 took the checkered flag using smart strategy, leading 108 of 160 laps and edging Rookiesrock by 1.3 seconds. En route to second-place, Rookiesrock led 17 laps of his own to put up a thrilling challenge for the title. In an impressive effort, lepage71 took the final step on the podium, reaching the line 1.9 seconds behind Speedyman11. No slouches, d3efan and Jes Rathbun were also significant factors, finishing fourth and fifth to round out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's third of the season, decreases his gap behind leader lepage71 in the standings to 17 points. In its next event, the Truck Series heads to Watkins Glen in what promises to be another shootout.
