Track Facts:

Milwaukee Mile had originally been converted for Heat by 2fnlow in 2006 from NR2003 (Project Wildfire), but he had not finished or released the Heat version. Raybee1970 had the work done by 2fnlow, I have made corrections, additions, and enhancements to the prior work, and am releasing a Heat version.

Wrangler had also released a Milwaukee Mile update for NR2003 based on the original PWF track. He gave permission for any of that work to be used in Heat, and I have integrated some of those updates into the Heat version.

A summary of changes I made:
Added 34 pit stalls, rebuilt AI and Pit paths, included Sky Dome, added cameras, fixed Holes, rebuilt pit wall and some pit road areas, rebuilt Collision Walls, added some tree walls.
Some new sponsors, grandstand rebuild, changed infield.
Track/etc retexturing.
Created separate Grass objects for slicker surface and dust.
Created separate Curbing objects for sound effects for Mods that have that.
Added all new lighting in Night version.
New Menus
Misc additions and cleanup

Special thanks to DaveO: for the setup/GCF

The Milwaukee Mile has hosted auto racing events every year since 1903, making it the oldest continuously operating auto racing facility in the world. During that time, the track has seen nearly every type of motorsports competition, from turn of the century "speed contests" and 24hour endurance races, to Depression/WWII era open wheel car duels, USAC stock car events, midget racing, CART, and NASCAR competition. The roster of past winners at The Milwaukee Mile is a veritable "who's who" of racing history, including names like Barney Oldfield, Rex Mays, A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Mario Andretti, and Jim Clark.

The venerable grand dame of racing has undergone many improvements in the last few years, including a new all-aluminum bleacher and grandstand seating, a new pit wall, a new scoring pylon, a repaving and retrofit of the infield road course, and the construction of a permanent infield care center building.

The new fan-friendly grandstands seat nearly 40,000 as well as provide significantly enhanced restrooms and concession areas. Competitor areas and paddock space has been enhanced at the state of the art facility.
