On June 21, the Cup Series rolled into Sonoma Carousel for the final event of the 2019 campaign. A sellout crowd saw a drama-filled, dazzling extravaganza. Defeating a flurry of contestants, Speedyman11 drove to a well-deserved win with the aid of patient techniques, leading 29 of 31 laps and clipping lepage71 by 56.8 seconds. En route to finishing second, lepage71 led one lap of his own to fuel a serious battle for the trophy. In a fine effort, Bandit occupied the final step on the podium, crossing the finish 56.8 seconds behind Speedyman11. Not to be overlooked, d3efan and Grumpy were no slouches either, locking down fourth and fifth to fill out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's eighth of the season, strengthens his final lead over lepage71 in the standings to 30 points. The Cup Series has now concluded another great competition. We look forward to even more of the same next season.
