On August 3, the IROC Challenge cruised into G3-Mid Ohio GA for the third race of the 2019 campaign. All that happened was a spectacle beyond what anyone could imagine. Defeating a flurry of contestants, Speedyman11 drove to a well-deserved win with the aid of patient techniques, leading 15 of 24 laps and topping Bandit by 26.4 seconds. En route to finishing second, Bandit led five laps of his own to put up a close battle for the trophy. In a fine effort, lepage71 grabbed the third finishing position, crossing the finish 26.4 seconds behind Speedyman11. A few paces back, BlackKnight and WingSideUp were not to be forgotten either, locking down fourth and fifth to fill out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's second of the season, strengthens his buffer over lepage71 in the standings to two points. In its next event, the IROC Challenge heads to Chicagoland in what promises to be another shootout.
