On August 10, the drivers of the IROC Challenge headed to Chicagoland for the fourth round of the 2019 season. As expected, the resulting electricity echoed across the community. Amid a frenzy of competitors, Speedyman11 took the checkered flag using smart strategy, leading 18 of 60 laps and edging lepage71 by 0.5 seconds. En route to second-place, lepage71 led 14 laps of his own to put up a thrilling challenge for the title. In an impressive effort, Bandit took the final step on the podium, reaching the line 0.5 seconds behind Speedyman11. Not to be forgotten, puttzracer and d3efan were no slowpokes either, finishing fourth and fifth to round out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's third of the season, increases his lead over Bandit in the standings to 27 points. In its next event, the IROC Challenge heads to Miami in what promises to be another shootout.
