Fourth Veterans Day Special Win for Warren

November 12, 2019 – Radford, VA…Rob Warren was able to hold on to the lead he built up early on, but only by the smallest of margins at the end of the Veterans Day Special for the Supermodified Ultimate Pavement Racing Series, (SUPRS), at New River Valley Speedway. 2015 winner Keith Powell reeled Warren in from 3.6 seconds back to finish nearly on top of the winner’s rear nerf bar for second and Brad Keysor raced to his first NASCAR Heat supermodified podium of the season.

Dedicates Win to Uncle

As he has done after his three previous wins, Warren dedicated the win to his uncle Dan who was killed during the Vietnam war. "

"Thank a Vet has been a password for this race for a long long time. Tonight I'm thanking a vet. Uncle Dan was in the co-pilot's seat tonight. Congrats to Keith on a great run, he was right there at the end."

Powell Grateful to Vets

"Congrats to Rob," said second place finisher Keith Powell. "I know how much this win means to him. I just ran out of time."

"Glad we hold these veterans day specials," continued the CPR Motorsports racer. "I think of my uncle John in our family. We still have him around and thankfully he was able to go come home after serving. I want to thank him and all the veterans for their service. Thanks also to 1st to Finish Servers, Hairbag Studios, Icings on Top and BreezeGraphics.com"
