lepage71 Times it Well in Shootout at California

On February 28, the drivers of the Truck Series went to California for the seventh round of the 2020 season. As suspected, the amount of fun and excitement made a big statement. Amid a frenzy of competitors, lepage71 took the checkered flag using smart strategy, leading five of 65 laps and edging Bandit by 0.1 seconds. En route to second-place, Bandit led seven laps of his own to put up a thrilling challenge for the title. In an impressive effort, Rookiesrock took the final step on the podium, reaching the line 0.1 seconds behind lepage71. No slouches, Speedyman11 and d3efan were also significant factors, finishing fourth and fifth to round out the top-five. The victory, lepage71's second of the season, decreases his gap behind leader Speedyman11 in the standings to 20 points. In its next event, the Truck Series heads to ISM Raceway in what promises to be another shootout.
