The new LCHRL championship format opened with race 1 of 3 for the night at Pocono. KartRacer63, lepage71, Speedyman11, and viagra6car were the championship four in the trio of races. Picking up the first point of the night was viagra6car, starting from pole for the first time in the season. A scattered start created a six car runaway, with the lead shuffling between four drivers. Maintaining the top spot for 6 of the 10 laps, DusterLag picked up his second victory of the season in the night's lone wildcard draft race. Speedyman11 was the top-finishing championship contender in second, playing it safe for points in the final laps. Finishing in 3rd was Redimuss in his best race of the season. Championship contenders lepage71 & viagra6car finished 4th & 5th respectively. Title contender KartRacer63 did not make an appearance. Following the first race of the night, Speedy held a 1-point lead over both lepage71 and viagra6car. Complete results here. |
