On August 21, the IROC Challenge rolled into Eldora Speedway for the third event of the 2020 campaign. All that happened was a spectacle beyond what anyone could imagine. Defeating a flurry of contestants, Speedyman11 drove to a well-deserved win with the aid of patient techniques, leading 62 of 109 laps and clipping lepage71 by 1.9 seconds. En route to finishing second, lepage71 led seven laps of his own to fuel a serious battle for the trophy. In a fine effort, Rookiesrock occupied the final step on the podium, crossing the finish 1.9 seconds behind Speedyman11. Not to be overlooked, BlackKnight and CR49 were no slouches either, locking down fourth and fifth to fill out the top-five. The victory, Speedyman11's second of the season, strengthens his buffer over lepage71 in the standings to 27 points. In its next event, the IROC Challenge heads to Kentucky Ver2 in what promises to be another shootout.
