On October 2, the drivers of the Busch Series came to Talladega for the eighth round of the 2020 season. As anticipated, the degree of fun and excitement did not disappoint. Amid a frenzy of competitors, lepage71 took the checkered flag using smart strategy, leading four of 52 laps and edging CR49 by 0.1 seconds. En route to second-place, CR49 led five laps of his own to put up a thrilling challenge for the title. In an impressive effort, Rookiesrock took the final step on the podium, reaching the line 0.3 seconds behind lepage71. Not to be forgotten, Speedyman11 and viagra6car were no slowpokes either, finishing fourth and fifth to round out the top-five. The victory, lepage71's first of the season, decreases his gap behind leader Speedyman11 in the standings to 45 points. In its next event, the Busch Series heads to Chicagoland2018 in what promises to be another shootout.
