Although its been a while since the last Heat Racing Series report, there hasn't been a lot to report but lets attempt to recap the last few races. After Atlanta, which Bmxtwins won, Bmxtwins went on a 3 race rampage winning the Atlanta, Martinsville and Talladega races. That ties the Heat Racing Series record of wins in a row held by Jess Rathbun in the H.R.S Sprint Cup Spoiler Pack mod. Rookiesrock has lead the most laps of any driver so far in this series but has yet to get that elusive checkered flag. WildChild and BlackKnight have been steadily climbing in points who are both looking for there first victories. Breeze has been running well when he can make the races while TheTrev and Mustangman seem to run ok when there schedule allows them to run races. After 4 races there is a new points leader, Hammer takes over the top spot in the points after a 2nd place finish at Charlotte despite the fact that Patch missed the race. Hammer has been running pretty well lately and it may have only been a matter of time before the 71 would have challenged Patch for the lead. The last race was at Charlotte (Lowes), the race was won by Donaldson who dominated the race leading 68 of the 90 laps scheduled.
