Why bother? you only get points for 5 things. winning, 2nd,3rd, hard charger, and losing the most spots. why bother why provisional? Sorry of it comes off rough but I find it pointless to have them with such a low scoring points system << Edited on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 5:52pm EST. >> |

Simply Put - Tie Breakers Your number of starts affects a tie-breaker situation. Your provisional counts as a start. -- Also I know you might not like the points system - and who knows we may not end up liking it either - but we are testing the extremes on each end of the points structure with our two Winter series at Cyber Leagues. ok that makes sense then. Although I thought you had a different points system when I first looked at the rules (must have miss read), otherwise I would have suggested a better one. With your points system its possible for 4 drivers to get points in a race (hard charger + top 3 is possible) I personally would expand it to at least 6 or 7 points for the winner, just IMO |

why not? if they are dreadful and can e improved through discussion then go for it, and trust me I talked to other people who thought the same thing it wasn't only me and I was not trying to put anyone down. Duster is trying something new and I applaud that, but you can tell when something is not going to work at all or has reversed logic (disconnect can get a point etc.) |

And this discussion is secondairy to provisionals. So I'd put the discussion elsewhere. It is cluttering this thread which has the Title "provisionals"I am sure this thread is not intended to debate the pointssystem
