My name is Andy C. I have a lot of experience with NR2003. I also play other racing games. I got Heat around 2006, but put it aside and continued playing Nascar 2003. I've only raced 2 online races with this game before today.

Now I have a renewed interest in this game. Its easy not to appreciate this game when you are used to NR2003. But upon closer inspection, this game has a lot to offer when you dig deeper than just what you see on the surface.

I've always wanted to race online with indycars at big ovals without having to lift. Other games (like NR2003 and Rfactor) don't seem to cut it. After racing around richmond at ridiculous speed, its hard to go back to Nascar. Nascar begins to seem like slow motion. Oh, and I also like a mix of ovals and road courses.

So this seems like the league for me. I also like the start time. 4pm won't conflict with other racing leagues. I wish there was more online racing on weekend afternoons.

I got bored driving around multiple laps down in last place. Hopefully next week I'll have my act together and be more prepared to race and be more competitive.

Welcome! I hope you stay here, NR2003 doesn't have accurate physics, because they can only have so many. Milwaukee is a hard track, it requires practice, but you did a good job. just practice well, and you'll do better next time.

As for other mods, this game has a lot to offer. I hope you stay, if you have any setup questions, just ask, and we'll see what we can do!

It takes time to get up to speed, lots of practice, also you started at a very difficult track indeed, granted Platinum Grand Prix is a very difficult mod as well.

We have a two week break for both our series here, but be sure to check out our IndyLights series as well, they are far easier to drive. We run those on Wednesdays @ 9pm ET

The last time I tried Cart heat, I think I kept spinning around every time I touched the gas. That was a long time ago. I will download it and try again.

Also, I used the the setup I downloaded on the homepage for Milwaukee. Was that any good? I didn't find this track hard. I just couldn't seem to break into the 18's.

Cart heat is run in normal mode, so you don't have to worry about any setups.

As for milwaukee, the setups are there to get you started. For an approach that can help you prepare, look into races we ran before, look at the times, try to match those, adjust the setup to help if you can. Like texas coming soon, try to get to the low 23's. Then you'll be near race form.

Road America, I'm not sure where I'm at, but I know the base setup there can help you get started.

If you have any questions, we'll see what we can do to help you.

Glad you could join us Wobble.

You handled the car pretty good if that was your 1st time racing in PlatinumGranPrix and at Milwaukee Night.
