Currently we are not allowed to run substitue drivers in LCHRL or OWA. Is there any discussion to possibly changing this for next season? My whole point i guess is this, basically with the way the points are now, if you happen to miss 1 race and take a provisional, you pretty much need to rack up a few wins to even have a chance at the overall title. It really just puts you in a hole very difficult to dig out of. If you happen to miss 2 or more races you have zero chance of winning the title. It is very hard to compeat in every race. I see how nhrl drops the lowest finish after every 4 races, thats a bit extreme i think. i understand why you dont have subs but i think it would be good for the league/drivers even if we were allowed to use at least 1 per season. |

Certainly something to discuss. I'll keep it in mind. If other league members want to chime in feel free! |

yeah something like this would need others input. I have no problem with the way is it now with no subs and just use provisionals. I just thought it would make life more easier for everyone if we were allowed to miss a race without it putting you in a hole to dig out of. Maybe another option to explore instead of allowing subs is doing the worst round drop each season, if we have 10 races, only the top 9 point totals will count, the lowest one gets dropped out or something along the lines of that. But then again that would probably complicate things on your end duster with point updates each week. |
