Im done with all the crap you guys wonder why we have no newbies around here??? take a look at the streight up bull that goes on the blocking by guys laps down Thw obviouse file swapping before normal mode races i mean come on in normale i dont care how good your line is on most tracks theres no way in hell guys are 3 seconds a lap faster than the rest of the field. The team mentallity couple guys race for championship and have a season dedicated blocker for anyone who might be compitition. The game has been corrupted and this allows cheating of some kind ive been around this community from day 1 an im sorry to say but this is getting rediculiose(oops Spelling) who wants to race with litterally no chance to win? I know theres other options available but this is or was a great sim and id hate to see it die after the amazing run its had but the bull is whats killing it. i mean read the forums theres even a post about how setting up your setup in a diff mod will give you an advantage the poster even admits to having some mods using setup made in this manner. the administrators need to take a closer look at replays and see for themseves and put the freindships aside when they do. All i know is I dont mean to sound like a *** but im outa here if somethings dont change and im sure other feel the same way. personally im tired of my car being damage intentionall when ever i have a fast car. We been doin this way to long for some of the unbelievably stupid things that happen. but most important IF YOU CANT HOLD YOUR LINE LIFT OR GET THE *** OFF THE TRACK DONT RUIN THE RACE FOR THE REST Any way sorry if I offended any one Red << Edited on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 12:27am EST. >> |

Hi Redimuss, I am sorry you feel this way, I can assure you that we are confident that no cheating is occurring currently in our Normal mode series. I am aware of the claims that have been and are made and I/we have extensively reviewed many drivers and every race. Race finishes and lap times are consistent with normal and expected conditions. Please keep it mind that due to the way we run our qualifying sessions it is normal for the admins to drop out of the server following qualifying in order to gather and organize the results.txt and website in regards to qualifying - prior to the race. I would also like to assure you that the admins work as independently as possible, we have and regularly penalized ourselves and each other when necessary. While we review every driver, I would also like to remind every driver that you can request a specific incident review via the Support Page by creating a New Topic. We will receive your response and review the requested incident and it will be reviewed. Thanks, League Officials |

I've got to say, that as much as I don't often agree with red, I think I agree with him 100% on this one! I don't know for the life of me why I would sit up until 12, 1 o'clock in the morning after working all day, then come home and bust my butt preparing for, and then competing in an event that the most I could hope for is a top ten finish! instead, now, I'm nothing more than an AI car or a back marker included in the race to make it more interesting to the select few. the ARL has evolved into something nothing like what I thought I had signed up for. my team mate had brought this up halfway through last season, then he started losing heart and dropping out. as far as cheating goes, I don't know anything about that. but, owning my own tech company, I know that any software driven program in the world can be corrupted or bent. and if I were writing software for something MY son was involved in, I would write it in his favor. what I don't understand, is that if the TMS wolf pack is so high and mighty, why don't they run their own cup series on their own server? instead of inflicting themselves on all that dustin did to make the ARL the most popular sim of all! this is your gig, and god knows I have no say in any of it. but like red, I'm done with the cup series. would still like to do national in hopes that the elites will get bored with it. and BTW: you need to update the mission statement of the ARL in the community site! Really?!?! This type of subject it seems comes up every 5 or so years.. LOL Back in the day folks use to accuse lepage71 of cheating. lmao Has anyone ever come to the conclusion that some folks use to hang out on Vent on a Friday night with there buds, and just practice for hours, and tweak there setups? Back in the day that's exactly what we use to do in NHRL.. It seems folks forget with practice, and also knowing how to build setups you do get competitive. Anyhow, I won't even respond more to this subject because it's just a bunch of bull****. Plus it just makes me laugh.. Dustin has done a great job with HF and running leagues, and threatening to quit and what not is just BS. Maybe you guys should take some time and hang out and practice with others, and watch how they train, and build setups.. Then you will see how there skills grow, and find that extra tenth of a second. << Edited on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 10:20am EST. >> |

The simple fact is, if you spend as much time practicing and as many years racing as some of these guys do you will get better. Dave is correct that cheating accusations come out on a regular basis, it always comes from the slow driver in a race. It happened in NHRL - I was the last place car every week until I put some serious practice in one week and suddenly I was actually competing for positions. It happened in the ARL, it was not but 2 years ago when everyone was screaming Donaldson was cheating, and Rookiesrock was in that group making the claim. Now Donaldson has less time to practices and less time to race and his performances have worsened. Rookiesrock has significantly increased his Normal mode racing and practicing and has become a winner in the series. Take it for what it is, but I have never cheated in any Heat League, period. I have extensively tested and studied all the know methods in a unique Heat installation including in an online format and truthfully determined that it is not currently occurring. This conversation has been exclusively emotional from the beginning and I understand the emotion, but that is all it is. There is no need for this conversation to continue. << Edited on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 12:56pm EST. >> |

I agree with you here, somewhat. There are many times, especially in normal mode events, where drivers multiple laps down fight with the leaders tooth and nail. There's no point to that and I wish it would cease, but it's not a huge problem.
I don't understand why you'd think this. As Duster said in a previous post, we as officials have no reason to suspect foul play. It would be very difficult for someone to modify game files without triggering an in game cheating message, anyway. Also, when was someone 3 seconds faster than the field? In last night's national race, I was able to run 33.0's in qualifying by myself, just by lowering the wedge to 45% and increasing the RF tire pressure to 50psi. Speedyman11 and Rookiesrock were a few tenths faster, but this was mainly because they were drafting. In the race by themselves, they were similar speeds to the rest of us. So I'm not sure where you're coming up with the evidence for these baseless accusations.
What? I honestly can't think of who you'd be talking about here. There are no 'dedicated blockers', everyone on the track is giving their all every race.
I understand your frustration on this one. But you don't know what's going to happen in any given event, you always have a chance to win. It may seem like Speedyman11 and TMS Wolfpack are unbeatable, but they aren't. They're just good. But they make mistakes and have off-nights just like the rest of us. I like to take it as a challenge; to try and find new tricks, new ways to get faster. Practice, practice, practice.
Could you link to this post? I don't remember seeing anything like that.
As Duster said, we carefully review every car and every lap of every replay. We completely disregard personal feelings and team affiliations during the review process. I'm not even sure why you'd think otherwise.
Ford, you worked for a race team. You know how things work. In NASCAR, do you think any certain team works significantly harder than the other? They're all competing to their highest ability, but some are still faster. It's the same way here. The fastest guys here have just figured things out. Their wheels and controllers are set up perfectly, they fine tune their setups down to the smallest detail, they plan their race strategy extensively, in addition to practicing for hours and having years of experience.
Not sure what you mean, other than the switch to hardcore mode in the cup series the ARL has been pretty much the same for four years or so...
That's a pretty big baseless accusation, are you sure you want to go down that road? The driver(s) you're speaking of are just good. He was taught by one of the best drivers in the game, who has years of experience and setup archives. I'm also sure that he's built upon what he's been taught, figuring out his own way of doing things and his own tricks. His father was always one of the best, back to the very beginning. Doesn't it stand to reason that he'd pass that to his son? Is that really that difficult to believe? Also, he gains no advantage by modifying the game in his son's favor. Absolutely none, and the fact that you say you'd cheat for your son says a bit more about you than the people you're accusing. You're better than that, Ford.
This is pretty senseless honestly. Are you suggesting that we should turn people away just because they're good? I'm sure that NASCAR drivers didn't suggest to Hendrick that they should just leave and make their own series when they were winning every championship and almost every race. That just doesn't make any sense. I really don't understand what you guys are so upset about. Listen to Dave and Duster, they aren't tricking or cheating you, they're telling you exactly what the truth is. << Edited on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 11:36am EST. >> |
