I think next year should include a "Most Underrated Driver" category. I feel like it could be a way to recognize a driver that doesn't quite make it into the other criteria but is still a very good all around driver. Not exactly sure what criteria could be but it's an idea.

Categories like that would probably have to be based on nominations from the community.

For example I'd like to see a category for "Race of the year" or "Wreck of the year", or even a "Save of the year (not wrecking)" people would need to submit nominations (probably race replay so we could view it) throughout the year so we could compile a listing to vote on. Would probably have to upload the videos to youtube or something so people could view them.

I think all of those suggestions would be a good addition to the community awards. Also maybe a vote on Top paint job of the year, with nominations of course.

I like all of those ideas. It would probably be pretty easy to get nominations for it and if there is any video work to be done, numerous people (including myself) have video editors to put things together for youtube.

what do you think duster? are you open to accepting nominations for awards like this? if so we can spread word out to all the other leagues to start submitting nominations when one of these occurrences happen (example wreck of the year), etc...if you agree, where would you want people to officially submit this? on the forum here or just by email?

if we get a lot of submissions, maybe the group here can narrow it down to a top 5 listing or something.
