Early Morning Special Events |

I want to test out some early morning races with some quick special events but want to know what sounds good and what at least a few of you might like... What exactly the mod/tracks/configuration these events would be are completely up in the air. This is what would work for me right now... Would anyone be interested in a race at any of these times? Maybe if a few of these events work out we can run a series during the time. - Monday, Tuesday @ 5:30am Eastern - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday @ 5am or 6am Eastern *This preferred for me - Saturday, Sunday @ None |

I'm not sure if this is the correct location to be posting this, if its not you may move this post. Maybe we should add a section onto heatfinder for special race requests? i'm glad you added a special events section, look forward to seeing some unique races come out of this. I would really like to see an endurance "Iron Man race". I know we have been talking about it for the last 2 or 3 years. Something like 300 or 400 laps at Bristol or some action filled track that would take 2 hours to do. (Preferably wouldn't want this type of event in the morning, should be at night). Another idea i had would be to hold some type of team event at like daytona_rc or something. Maybe have groups of 2 or 3 drivers per team and calculate each team's average finishing position at the end to determine which team wins. If anyone wants to approve of either of these ideas maybe we can start working on it. |

Any morning races I end up trying will be quick ones, max 30 mins but more likely 20 as I don't have a lot of time in the morning. |
