Rule changes concerning bonus points |

I commend the League in the removal of the following bonus point awards in the Cup, Xfinity ,and Truck series: {+1 bonus point for being the lowest finishing driver losing the most positions during a single race.} {+1 bonus point for being the lowest finishing driver still running} and the addition of the fastest lap bonus point award! I am, however, curious as to why these changes were not implemented also for the upcoming Home pro series featuring the new Vintage Mod ? EDITED, Side note: Just to let you know. In the ARL Rule book , PDF version, The Racing Conduct penalty listings point to the incorrect Violation section. While points systems are reviewed for viability by the entire League Official group, decisions on how a series handles it's points are made by the Series Director of a given series. Thanks for catching the typo, I'll work on updating that right now. |
