in order to view one of Jess's live feeds, is there a direct link to get to it? the one time I tried, I had to click on a couple different links. one being a face book log in screen. could this be why there was so much buffer over run going on? also, when we raced the T-bone Atlanta race, I was getting some warping whenever I got near breeze's car. then when I watched jess's replay, instead of seeing warping, I saw the buffering screen. as far as I know, the two shouldn't have anything to do with each other. should they? http://hltv.nascarheat.com/ or the "HLTV Stream" link on the top of the HeatFinder pages ^^^ When the stream is offline, it will just be a mostly black screen. For race replays see the News page here, the HeatFinder Facebook page or our YouTube page here or using any of the links at the top of the page to your preferred social network. (Though the replay videos are not on our Instagram page).
Not sure where you could have been going. You can use the above hltv.nascarheat.com or twitch.tv/nascar_heat Neither require login or the use of Facebook.
What "buffer over run" are you speaking of?
No, neither of them are related. We're you watching the race replay where you saw the "buffering screen" or were you racing and watching Jess's live stream at the same time and experienced buffering? |

ok, I see the link now. funny I never noticed it before. I watched the two qualifier races for Daytona on the feed. I found it cause there was a link to it on the home page. it said watch live click here. I did, and it took me to a face book log in screen. there was a heatfinder logo on the page, so I clicked on it and found the feed. while watching there was a lot of buffering going on. the sceen would freeze, then catch up and play again. I figured it was just from a poor network connection. I watch the replays from the news page on the site. when I saw the Atlanta race posted I watched it. I forgot to save my replay and was looking for the warping. I just looked at it again and don't see the buffering anymore. maybe I'm nuts or I had just caught the replay right after it was posted or being posted, but I swear it was doing the buffering thing! oh well, at least I've found the direct link to the feed. thanks Driver of the #2 Penske Racing Ford

I've also tried watching the races live from the link here @ http://hltv.nascarheat.com/ on several different machines, and could never get it to work right to watch the live races. The only one that works without any problems ior me is Jess, link to http://www.twitch.tv/nascar_heat To watch them live. @Fordly56 We also have posts of all the races posted up to date on our forums at TMS that you can watch, and you do not need to log in to see them. Not sure why it wouldn't be working, it is just the Twitch feed, no different than being on the Twitch site. I'm probably going to take it down anyway, Jess is ignoring all communication from me for weeks and won't answer any questions about this site that he asked me to put up. Jess tells me he wants everything on HeatFinder then I find out he said the same thing to TMS and made you guys think it would be exclusive over there. I can't get any clarification from him at all so at this point I'm just going to let it all be on TMS and the direct Twitch URL. So please continue to use this site... http://www.twitch.tv/nascar_heat |

I had a lot of trouble getting the link here to work, it lagged horribly and froze when I tried to watch something on it one time. The twitch page worked, I have no idea why that would be unless Twitch somehow slows down streaming that is being watched not on their site. Driver of the #46 TMS Wolfpack Chevrolet

Just curious, what it the same stream (race) that was lagging on one site but not the other? Or were they different events? << Edited on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 7:21pm EST. >> |

Hey Dustin, Check your messages please.. But to make a long story short. Jess just asked me if he could post video's out at TMS.. There was nothing exclusive about it bud.. I think it's cool you have the video news thingie here at HF and the live feed thing. This should all be about the community, and trying to help promote the community as a whole.. Just like how you promote about wip's mod's and tracks.. Kinda the same thing.. But please don't make it exclusive at TMS. I think having HF and TMS doing a little bit of both is a great thing for our small community.. I don't know anything about lack of communication between you and Jess.. All I know about is having a forum section so video's of all online racing vid's can be showed. Heck if you think about it, none of the TMS leagues are getting coverage for live racing on any twitch thingie. So you can see just by that, this is a community driven type of deal for all of us I hope.. Let's all work together for the good of the community bud. And please check your messages.. So any other communication is between us.. Long Live Heat!! Rock on everyone!! |

Whoops, clicked the edit button on Duster's post instead of quote. Anyway, that was two separate events, I didn't go over to check the Twitch page on that one, although I probably should have just to check to see if it was the stream or just the HeatFinder page. No issues with TMS here, it's entirely Jess's misleading and incomplete requests. And his communication issues are not just with me. I'll still continue to use the News/Social feeds for his videos, nothing stopping there - just going to kill the extra "specific" website I was asked to create which it appears he does not want to use. No need to maintain something that won't be used. Also no need to keep everything private here, everyone here knows about this stuff already. |
