ARL Rulebook 2016 Revision H has been posted to the ARL Info page. Here is a quick summary of the changes in this revision... - Update Patch Cup Series from 2015 Cup Carset to 2016 Cup Carset (II.A.1) - Removal of KartRacer63 from ARL Officials, Adding KartRacer63 to ARL Moderators (XI.A.2, XI.A.3) - Update HeatFinder logo - New Rule: When the race reaches 75% completion, lead lap cars will be moved to the front of the grid during line-up. Lap down cars will be moved behind lead lap cars in the same line-up positions regardless of race position. (V.H.7) - Rule clarifications throughout section V.H.6 - Clarification of separate "Live Review" event potential minimum penalties (IX) - New Rule: Drivers must perform their pit stop within their own designated pit box as determined by the game at each individual track and have a minimum of 3 tires within their box. A driver’s pit box is determined by painted lines on pit road or the location of their, and other driver’s, pit crews. The blocking of pit road and other driver’s pit boxes is strictly prohibited. (V.G.5) Driver will be issued a 1 lap penalty or a drive through penalty depending on the race and situation. - Rule clarification / New rule: Drive Through penalties issued during “Live Review” events must be served by the driver within 5 laps. (V.I.1) Driver will be immediately disqualified and removed from the remainder of the race. - New penalties: IX.B.9, IX.B.10 Note for Patch Cup Series Drivers We have been following one rule incorrectly for the Patch Cup Series in regards to the "free pass" driver procedure, this will be rectified during future events. Rules have not changed in regards to "free pass" drivers. We will also attempt to not utilize a pace car once again at the next Patch Cup Series event as the only issue that arose was related to the incorrect implementation of this procedure. |
