Hello All,

We have overhauled many pieces of the ARL Rulebook, you can get the new rulebook here...

https://heatfinder.net/downloads/rulebooks/ARLLeague%20Rulebook_2017.docx
https://heatfinder.net/downloads/rulebooks/ARLLeague%20Rulebook_2017.pdf

Here is a summary of the changes (a changelog of sorts), but may not include every change... We encourage you to provide feedback & suggestions!

- Overall consolidation of sections and lengths throughout, including consolidating of penalties into actual rule violations and clarification of "live review" penalties.
- Re-worked the rule stating drivers are to only be scored as themselves. Nothing has actually changed here, you can only race as yourself, any attempt at impersonations or attempt at fraud is not permitted now and will not be permitted in the future.
- Further clarified eligibility of drivers to sign-up for a season for Driver, Team and Manufacturers points.
- Clarified DNS driver order briefly.
- Increased Patch Cup provisionals to 6 and T-Bone National provisionals to 5. The other series may be increased or changed as we determine season lengths during the year.
- Added OWAction founding info.
- Clarification and re-worked the Event Review sections to better define how "live review" events are reviewed as well as traditional events.
- Further clarification of how appeals work and what can happen during an appeal.
- Further clarifications throughout the Procedures section.
- Consolidation of penalties into actual relevant rules.
- Altered pit box rule to only penalize if you affect the performance of another driver. (Two part violation as with most other penalties)
- Small change to Patch Cup & T-Bone National points system for final race.

Thanks All!

Any chance for the wear factors to be 1x - 6x for Cup and Xfinity instead of the 2x-5x range?

6x would be way too much on a lot of tracks, it's bad enough on 5x as it is.

puttzracer nailed it, 6x would be a bit much in both series, but especially in Cup - pitting every 4-9 laps. 1x would have the opposite effect for the National Series where we could end up having races without pit stops.
