i know we all got waded up there in the pits..if anything comes from this race, i think some type of pitting rule needs to take effect when there are multiple cars next to each other going down pit road to avoid future accidents like this from happening.

I would suggest that whoever is leading coming down the pits to the stalls would have the right away and the other car/cars would need to fall in line so we all don't run over each other.

another thing we could do is, you need to be in the furthest right lane coming down pits. (same thing would apply, if car 1 is ahead and car 2 is on the rear panel of car 1, car 2 would need to give way and fall in line behind car 1 who is leading, otherwise accidents are bound to happen)

Technically that's what is supposed to happen. To not cause any damage and lose nearly as much time, the cars on the outside who's stalls come first when pitting, should have fallen back to make it possible to get into their stall unimpeded. Technically we're supposed to be in the right hand lane going down pit road and at almost every other track, this wouldn't have happened because most pit roads aren't nearly as wide as the one in Cal. It all boils down to knowing who you're pitting around and getting yourself in position to get in and out as quickly and easily as you can. In last night's case, none of us really wanted to give anything.

I saw this and believe that Donaldson, who was 1st to enter the pits,in the correct far right lane, and clearly having the lead, should have done exactly what he did do ,and duster should have backed off allowing Don more room to pit and then GTS would have not have been pinched into stall # 10 by Duster to begin with
AS far as allowing guys to pit because of there qualify order.I dont agree.what if your not sure where the other driver's stall is?it may be a driver who's stall is nowhere near yours and so u he goes inside
of u and u have to wait to see what he does .if u slow and let him ahead of u and then he pits in 8th and you were 3rd ..slowed u down. worse yet is he is 5th and u were in 4th now you may have a problem getting into stall if he over shoots a bit etc.etc.If you go by whos ahead of who at the line,it alleviates these problems.you all know the order then!
