I finally am using the mod launcher....go me  Everything works great except when I try and launch the Shelby or nhrlts mod I get and " error 183" any idea what that might be. ALl the other mods work ..like everything from the mod squad, these are the only 2 that give the same error. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Can't say I've ever seen that, do you get it when you click the Launch button or is this part of a Heat error log? |

A few things I would check just to get started... - Have you granted permission to your account for the NASCAR Heat folder? - Are you running Mod Launcher "As Administrator" and under Windows XP Compatibility mode? - Do each mod have a mod.cfg file within their folders? |

Well I did it Everything works great with the launcher. I installed the NHRLTS and Shelby with No Problems. I copied all my sets and options files with No Problems.  I'm on a roll, with a side of slaw. Now if I can get my Logitech wheel installed correctly I will be happy. It sets up 64 bit automaticly the problem is. Why cant I open the profiler? Logitech g25 wheel

I have a Logitech Momo wheel with the Logitech Profiler running without issue on 8.1 64bit. Nothing special done. Using the 64 bit version of Logitech Profiler would not be an issue. |

Well apparently the G25 HAS and issue. I was able to install it but unable to open or use the profiler and the wheel was not centered. I figured maybe I will just uninstall/ reinstall figuring that it may have for got a file or something stupid like that. NOPE now it wont reinstall getting error code 1628. And to kick me harder I cant get it out/uninstall it from my program files  .The good news is the wheel works better than it did last night even without the disk loaded. But that doesn't do me any good in the pace car. Any way thanks Duster I am google hunting and I'm hopeful I will find some thing more. Already tried the network 3.5 thing and other versions of the software but......

Hey Thanks for all the help Duster. The problem was I was using the Logitech cd. I never knew that until Rookiesrock told me how to install on a 8.1 O.S "Thanks Rookierock" You cant use the cd with 8.1 need to go to the Logitech site, support ,gaming, pick your device, select download on top of the page, select your O.S and bit Download and install. Thanks again!
