been looking at this series, looks like fun. i'd like to install the software as clean as possible, so some advice would be great. do I install the mod in the general heat folder and then the add ins within the mod? or do they go in separately in the heat folder? and then what do I need to do to get to them from the mod launcher?
thanks,

Install the base CoT Platinum mod into the Heat folder, and all the addons for it will install in the same folder. It works the same as G3 as far as installing and selecting carset in the mod launcher. You choose the CoTPlatinum mod, then go in the menu on the top of the mod launcher to utilities, swap utils, carset swapper, then select the ARCA carset and click swap. I think you may have to install all the addons for CoT Platinum in a specific order, Cup, Nationwide, Truck, then ARCA. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and you can install just one of them. Also don't forget to install the golden patch.

Here is the installation order for COT Platinum:

1.) COT Platinum Base Files
2.) 2008 Trucks Add on.
3.) 2008 Nationwide Add on.
4.) 2008 Cup Add on.
5.) COT Platinum Golden Patch.
6.) 2008 ARCA Add on.

All add ons are optional and ARCA should work fine if you just install the base files, patch and the ARCA add on. But it's best to go ahead and install all of them for future reference, so you don't have to reinstall everything later on just to run a certain add on.

Hope this helps.

As long as you keep the order correct when installing the Platinum mod and be sure to install the Golden Patch at the end.
