This would mean the season would stretch over a long period of time and would convert the Daytona race we already ran would become a points event. Thoughts? Figured it might be some occasional fun..

i would like to do a season with this mod as it is very fun to drive. I would only be able to participiate if the races were spread out though. Like an every other week type thing as there's a league running races almost every day of the week every week. Would this be another road course only season? Can you do any oval tracks with this mod? Talladega may be fun with this mod as you could probabley get up 250 mph.

The races would be spread out over the year with this idea instead of being a short continuous season, this way we could run along side the real world Grand Am Series. We would not be running any ovals with the Grand Am cars.

But I feel it would be better if the Daytona race was not a full fledged points event. It really wasn't intended to be a points race, so making it one wouldn't be fair. But, I am comfortable with running another Daytona race and letting the previous event dictate the starting grid.
