I just swapped out my joy stick for a Logitech wheel and peddle. it's very nice and expensive and I love the way I can now feather the throttle instead of o or 100%. but the steering is making me nuts!! I have to turn the wheel 10 to 15 degrees to the left before I get a response, say going into a turn, but then when I come out of the turn, it wants to keep going left until I turn it 10 to 15 degrees to the right just to get going straight. and if I want to get to the right near the wall to get a better angle on the next turn, I have to turn even more. then, when it kicks in and bites, I've turned so much that it throws me into the wall!! if I come up on something like a wreck or a dead slow car, there is no way I could ever zig zag around it. I'm into it!
I've tried changing the settings within the game all over the place, to the point that I can't remember the last one, that was close to working. and this is what's making me nuts!
so, what I'm asking, could someone tell me their steering settings that I could at least use as a base line to build from? and if that didn't work, I have thirty days to put this crap back in the box and send it back to Logitech.
thanks in advance,

I use different settings for every mod style, for most stock cars I use 0 Dead Spot, 2 Clicks Overshoot, and Full Non-Linear Steering with Supersampling and Smoothing all the way up.

In-game wheel lock will pull your car on some tracks that have a flat straight and that's normal given that your wheels are at an angle.

thanks a lot DusterLag!
I just tried those settings and it made a world of difference! I was set at almost the complete opposite. I just did a lap at 31.2 at Kansas when before I couldn't get below 32. I understand about the car pulling when the wheels are turned. my problem was, I didn't know how far they were turned until they would bite. then it was too late to save it. now I can play with that a little and see if I can tweak it more!
again thanks, your the BEST!!

The more non linear you have , the less sensitive the steering is. I use one click.
