Hey all. I'm new to the site here, but definitely not new to Nascar Heat. It's a great game that finally works properly for me again with Windows 7. Anyway, I have a question about steering wheels for this game, and I cannot find any compatibility lists on the internet.

I previously owned the Ferrari F430 Force Feedback Racing Wheel, but at the time the game's graphics were all screwed up in Windows XP SP3. I never had a chance to test the wheel out because of that issue and so I returned it. Well, now the wheel has sold, and I wanted to know if this wheel works with Nascar Heat or is there a different wheel that will work for it, that I can purchase at a reasonable price?

On Amazon, they want nearly $500.00 for that Ferrari wheel and I won't pay that much just for the racing wheel. So just wondered if anyone out there uses a racing wheel for Nascar Heat cause I'd really like to get a decent one.

Thanks

hey sim456,
welcome to the site. I just found it in July and have been racing on the ARL league since. I was using a plain old joy stick that worked fine, but found that it was just a matter of time, till I'd have to get a wheel. my team mate and I got the Logitech g27. it is a great package and works great. if you go to the Logitech site you can get the run down on it. to buy it from them direct, it's like three hundred plus tax and shipping. but we found them at Amazon for two hundred plus tax and shipping, but, were still less than two fifty. but, when looking around, I found wheels for anywhere from fifty on up. I never saw one for five hundred!
I use the control settings within the game it's self and at first had a lot of problems with it, but with help from the folks here, I've got it tweaked to where it's all but perfect. you will get other responses here and you'll find that these guys are a great group, and give you the best advice to get you going.
hope to see you on the track, and good luck!

Any wheel that is compatible with Windows will work in Heat.

Glad to see you come back to Heat!
