so, when do the pits close during the end of the segment in T-bone? if the segment ends on lap 50, do the pits close when the leader enters lap 51? or sooner? even if the leader is in pit lane at the time? and what about another driver who enters the pits on the same lap? gets confusing! guess that's why NASCAR closes the pits two laps before the segment end. the second driver gets busted while the leader pits, and pulls back out, still in the lead, and goes on to win. Pits close when the yellow flag is called. This is the same for segment cautions as it is for a normal yellow flag in the rulebook. |
