Hi Red,

Obviously emotion took over some of this incident last night, but I would like to quickly summarize what went wrong.

During the "Sullivan County 120" Home Pro Series race two drivers ended up in the server with the same car number.

At the time, Redimuss was not an active driver in the series while JessRathbun was an active driver in the series but for a different number. (An active driver is a driver who has signed-up and claimed ownership of a car number.)

Neither driver had any ownership of the number, the only way to hold a claim of a number is to be signed-up with that number for the current season. There is a side contingency that a driver who owned a number in the previous season of the same series has first claim over that same number in the next season of the series, but this does not apply when a driver is not signed-up nor does this apply in this case anyway as no driver had that number during the 2016B season.

I see now that you have signed up as the #50, therefore now that number belongs to you in the Home Pro Series.

A decision was made by the lead official that night for a Redimuss to change their car number. The decision was not immediately followed, leading to a long race interruption. This interruption continued and because the Official direction was not being followed - the next step was to remove the driver from the server, had you followed the official direction this would have never been considered as an option as the event would have continued on, uninterrupted.

Because you did not follow an official direction you will be penalized under Rule V.C, you will not be banned or suspended for this incident but I would encourage everyone to learn from this. Always sign-up and secure the number you want to use in a series before it begins and always follow direction from the lead Official during an event. It's ok to question a decision, but it's not ok to argue and delay the start of a race. If a decision is strongly disagreed with - It can always be discussed post-race.

In the end this is in the past, we can all move forward and compete at the next race.

I have attended many races without having the correct number on my car mostly because I chose a number that does not have an in game car and have none painted yet. Admins always have let me drive some random in game car for that race. A few minutes of following directions goes a long way.

What no one seems to get is that

i had been here for practice. Jes wasn't,

I had already qualified outside front row Jes want here for qualifying

We were already on track ready to take the green. Now Jes shows up

if he had arrived prior to qualifying i would have said no prob but when we were that far into the process no I should not have had to give up my #

Also its the only one of its kind in the mod

And maybe i didn't register in 2016 i did run the 60 car in any races i attended i even have replays to prove it

you just didnt like the challenge to your athority that you went into a state known as contempt of cop and dicided to slap me down for it
