Heat graphics, track drops out , can see inners of car while driving etc. |

So I was reading and haven't found anyone else commenting on this problem. Got this older game out of storage, redid the whole patch update and the game works great. Im running on vista 32b. I've tried highest graphics setting and lowest. Even at the highest its still around the 60 to 71fps No matter how high or low I set graphics, the cars cut missing(can see frames, panels go missing)tracks partially turn light blue at times in the turns and banked turns look like you can see right through them like glass to whatever is behind them(grass etc) ...any help or ideas, thanks...game doesnt lag at all driving even with everything on max highest..but it says under Machine information: computer speed 0MHz (dual-processor?) Fill rate 1575 MPix/sec (awesome) Polygon rate 5642 KTris/sec (awesome) anything i can do so track doesnt keep disappearing in banked turns, thanks |

Welcome to the community! Have you tried installing the game only using the Heat Core Installer? (Don't use the CD at all). This may be fixed by the newer patches. If that does not work, it's also possible that you will need to play with the settings in your graphics card options until you find the one that is affecting the DirectDraw issue. Sorry I don't have anything specific beyond that, on occasion the newest video cards just don't like this game and require tweaking to make it work - most people end up finding the right setting to tweak. |

ok, thanks, I'll give that a try with installing w/o my cd game.. I've played with all types of graphic settings , put it to the high priority in task manager, anything I could think of. hmm, just stinks I only loose it in the turns, straight flat stretches never disappear, only turns, esp. higher banked turns. |
